SC Dept of Revenue: Filing deadline extended due to Hurricane Helene
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The clock is ticking for you to file your 2024 federal tax return.
The South Carolina Department of Revenue says the filing deadline has been extended to May 1st due to Hurricane Helene.
The IRS is encouraging tax payers to be mindful of the deadline, and to use digital tools on the IRS website to file a return.
There’s the option to request an extension which would push the filing deadline to October 15.
