Sumter County deputies arrest man in connection with recent drive-by shooting

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)–  Sumter County deputies have arrested a suspect in connection with a recent drive-by shooting.

Deputies say 21-year-old Dontrell Canty played a role in the drive-by shooting on Wrangler Avenue on March 26.

Four other suspects were arrested shortly after the shooting. Canty was taken to the Sumter County Detention Center.

The incident remains under investigation.
