Cocky Rooster grand opening

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)–  All you lovers of chicken wings and chicken sandwiches listen up, there is a new restaurant you’re sure to love now open in Five Points.

City officials held a ribbon cutting ceremony for “Cocky Rooster” located between Goats and Men’s Wearhouse on Devine Street.

It all started with a love of wings and an old house in Richmond, Virginia, where the small chain began.

Owned and operated by the Lyons family, they say their passion for chicken is only surpassed by their desire to serve others.

You can try “Cocky Rooster” until 11 p.m. on Sundays through Thursdays, and until 2 a.m. in the morning on Fridays and Saturdays.
