CRFD control early morning house fire
RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Firefighters with the Columbia-Richland Fire Department were able to control and extinguish an early morning house fire on Wednesday, said fire officials.
According to the fire dept., third shift crews took on a Waxberry Circle house fire shortly before 9:50 a.m.
The third shift crew found black smoke coming from the eaves.
Officials said the fire appeared to have originated on the back deck of the property and then it spread to the interior and into the attic.
There were no injuries reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
