Richland County deputies investigating after body found in Jackson Creek

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County deputies have announced an investigation after a body was found in Jackson Creek, the sheriff’s department says.

Richland County Sheriff’s Department says on Friday, April 18, at around 12 p.m., deputies received a call after a passerby reported seeing a body in Jackson Creek which is near the intersection of Decker Blvd and O’Neil Ct.

A body was located in the creek once deputies arrived to the scene.

It was confirmed that the individual was deceased.
