DHL suspending shipments over $800
(CNN)– DHL Shipping is temporarily suspending ‘business-to-consumer’ shipments to the U.S. worth more than $800.
DHL says the move was due to a “significant increase” in red tape at Customs following the introduction of President Trump’s Tariffs.
Previously, packages worth up to 25-hundred dollars could enter the U.S. with minimal paperwork.
However now, the threshold has been lowered due more stringent customs checks.
DHL said the new policy started on Monday. April 21.
