Newberry Back In Top 25

NEWBERRY, S.C. (WOLO) — The Newberry College football team (8-1 overall, 5-1 South Atlantic Conference) is back in the D2Football.com Top 25 media poll for the first time since October 15.

The poll was released Tuesday with the Wolves in the No. 24 spot.

Newberry is ranked No. 21 in the AFCA Coaches’ Poll and second in the official NCAA Division II Super Region II rankings.

The Wolves will face Carson-Newman on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Burke-Tarr Stadium in Jefferson City, Tenn.
