SCDOT announces temporary night closures at Colonial Life Blvd and I26
Columbia, SC (WOLO) — The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) plans to continue their nighttime closures at Colonial Life Boulevard and Interstate 26 as a part of the Carolina Crossroads project.
The Department says the first location that will be impacted is the I-126 Westbound ramp leading to Colonial Life Boulevard. Traffic will be rerouted to Bush River Road by way of Greystone Boulevard in order for drivers to access Colonial Life Boulevard. The Second locationis the Colonial Life Boulevard on ramp to Interstate 126 Eastbound. Traffic headed in this direction will be detoured to Greystone Boulevard interchange at I-126.

Closures started at 9pm Friday night and are expected to continue through Saturday. Effect ramps are set to reopen to traffic beginning at 5 a.m. You can click the link below to check out a map of both detours.
