S.C. State University opens doors to Limestone College students

Columbia, SC (WOLO) — South Carolina State University is offering students at Limestone College a helping hand since the 160 year institution announced plans to shut down all of their on campus and online programs at the end of this semester.

S.C. State University President Alexander Conyers says the entire Bulldog family stands in support of Limestone College.
Conyers says the university faculty and staff are eager to assist any students who need to finish or are looking for a new home to continue their higher education.

The university says they will transfer credits for all classes a student has taken, granted they passed and if the student has the required GPA.
The university says they will also waive all application fees, and give personalized support from enrollment and academic support teams.

Limestone College says they were unable to come u with the 6 million needed to continue Limestone will hold their last commencement this weekend.
