Two students arrested for bringing weapons to Brookland Cayce High School

CAYCE, S.C. (WOLO) – Cayce Police say two Brookland Cayce High School students were arrested for bringing guns to school Thursday.

Authorities received an anonymous tip warning that two students were planning to bring weapons to the school.

According to investigators, school administration, Cayce SROs and Cayce Police responded immediately and found two weapons (handguns) on the students.

This incident took place prior to school.

Both suspects were arrested and taken to the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice.
