Netflix makes changes to homepage

(CNN)– Netflix is making changes.

On Wednesday, May 7, the streaming giant announced a major face-lift of its home page.

It’s been the same since 2013.

Officials say the freshened landing page will move the main menu from the left-hand side of the screen to the center.

Descriptions of content will also be compacted with more personalized viewer recommendations.

Netflix says it will also begin testing a generative Ai-boosted search along with a vertical video feed, Tik-Tok style for mobile users.

Viewers can expect to see the updates over the next few months.
