WSPA-TV and WVOC-FM win stations of the year award

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) âone space€one space” WSPA-TV and WVOC-FM won The Associated Press’ South Carolina TV and radio stations of the year awards at the Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas awards lunch in Charlotte, N.C. WVOC also received the award for the best radio newscast of the year while WHNS-TV was recognized for the best TV newscast at Saturday’s awards luncheon. In addition to these two awards, South Carolina TV and radio stations were recognized by the AP for their work in 2012 in a number of categories including sports reporting and programming, features, website and general reporting. Overall, five TV and radio stations were recognized for their work.
