Columbia police holding town hall meeting

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Columbia’s interim police chief is holding a town hall meeting to talk about crime in South Carolina’s capital city.
Chief Ruben Santiago is partnering with the North Columbia Business Association for a meeting on Tuesday at the Eau Claire Print Building.
Organizers say meeting topics will include crime safety and prevention, as well as gang awareness and code enforcement.
There will also be other officers on hand and officials from the city’s Housing Planning and Development Services and Code Enforcement departments.
The meeting is free and open to the public.
