2 people injured after Booker Street shooting, 1 dead
Columbia, SC ( WOLO) — The Columbia Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place around 9 p.m. Tuesday night in the 25- hundred block of Booker Street. That’s near Farrow Road. According to CPD, three people were injured during the gunfire and taken to an area hospital.
CPD announced that one of those people who were injured after the shooting died.
According to the Richland County Coroner’s Office, 44-year-old Timothy Jacobs was pronounced dead at a hospital.
Also, one victim was released from the hospital.
Columbia investigators are trying to determine what led to the incident.
