USC football team to be recognized at basketball game Saturday

COLUMBIA, S.C. – University of South Carolina Football will take part in halftime festivities during the SEC men’s basketball game between the Gamecocks and Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday, January 20.

Head coach Will Muschamp and several Gamecock players will be on the court as the squad is recognized for a nine-win season, just the seventh in school history, and a New Year’s Day Outback Bowl win over Michigan.

Game time is set for 6 pm at Colonial Life Arena. The game against the 21st–ranked Volunteers will be nationally-televised on ESPN2.
