Fire Destroys Columbia Apartment Units

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – A Columbia apartment complex goes up in flames Thanksgiving night.

Crews responded to the Charbonneau Apartments on Stoneride Drive around 6:45pm.
That’s near Greystone Boulevard.

They say at least three units are completely destroyed and several of its residents will be displaced.

There are no reports of any injuries at this time.

The Red Cross is assisting those affected.

No word yet on a possible cause.
