New home building slows in April

 

(CNN)– U.S. homebuilders pulled back on projects in April.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau and the Department of Housing and Urban Development, single-family home starts dropped 12% in April compared to a year ago.

Housing starts measure the number of new residential construction projects.
