Search for Armed Robbery Suspects

(WOLO) COLUMBIA,S.C., —

Richland County Sheriff’s are searching for suspects accused in two unrelated armed robberies. Authorities say a man was pistol whipped inside a store in the 72 hundred block of Parklane Road around 9:30 Saturday night. 

Authorities say the two suspects accused of beating the man, also assaulted the victims two friends who were waiting for him outside the store in the parking lot. Deputies say the first victim was injured but refused treatment.

Sheriff’s say around the same time they were called to investigate another armed robbery, this time along Broad River Road and Seminole Road where authorities say a man was beaten and then robbed.

According to officials, one of the suspects in this case choked the victim as the second suspect rummaged through his pockets allegedly stealing a cell phone, the victim’s birth certificate and cash.
