FDA recalls cucumbers due to salmonella outbreak
(CNN)– Be careful before making your next salad.
Cucumbers from Bedner Growers INC are being recalled by the Food and Drug Administration for possible salmonella contamination.
The vegetables were distributed from April 29 until May 19.
The FDA and the centers for disease control and prevention are investigating an outbreak that has infected more than two-dozen people in 15 states including South Carolina.
Some of those affected confirmed they recently ate cucumbers.
