Deputies: Man on-the-run after shooting cab driver multiple times

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Richland County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a suspect accused of shooting a taxi cab driver.

Deputies said they responded to the 7600 block of Garners Ferry Rd at 10:30 p.m., Thursday, where they found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds in her lower body.

The woman said when she picked up the male suspect, and he threatened her with a gun and demanded cash, shooting her several times.

RCSD said she was treated at the hospital.
