Local Living: South Carolina AG and Art Tour, Keep the Midlands Beautiful, Two R&B superstars at CLA, Lake Murray Palooza

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, You can attend the South Carolina AG and Art Tour next weekend.

Visitors will have the chance to see where their food comes from, enjoy local musicians and learn about rural life.

The free self-guided tour is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 31 in Lexington County.

 

There’s still time to donate to Keep the Midlands Beautiful’s shoe drive fundraiser.

The shoe drive is going on now through May 31.

You can donate new or gently worn shoes at their office on Augusta Road in West Columbia.

It helps raise funds to support the non-profit’s litter prevention, recycling and beautification efforts.

 

Two R&B superstars are bringing the hits to the soda city next month.

Fantasia and Anthony Hamilton will both perform at the Colonial Life Arena Friday, June 13.

The show starts at 8 p.m.

The Grammy Award winning singers will play some of their biggest hits.

 

Lake Murray will have an outdoor music festival next weekend.

Lake Murray Palooza will feature Country, Rock n’ Roll and Reggae music.

The fun kicks off at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 31, and continues on Sunday, June 1.

General admission is $25 and all proceeds go toward the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.
