Dutch Fork firefighters respond to reported elementary school fire

IRMO, S.C. (WOLO)– Dutch Fork firefighters responded to a reported Wednesday morning fire at an elementary school, said fire officials.

Dutch Fork Fire Rescue officials said firefighters responded to Lake Murray Elementary School on Three Dog Road after a fire was reported on May 28.

When firefighters arrived to the scene they determined that there was no fire.

Firefighters also determined that the incident was isolated and was caused by a heater unit that was turned on unintentionally.
