SC AG: Prehired LLC victims to receive reimbursement

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Attorney General Alan Wilson says victims of a deceptive on-line training program will finally get repaid.

In 2023 a court ordered Pre-hired LLC to pay $42 million in restitution to 600 customers nationwide, but due to unexplained delays the payments weren’t announced until Friday, May 30.

Officials say Pre-hired lured customers into paying upwards of $30,000 under the belief that they would be guaranteed tech sales jobs making more than $60,000 a year.
