Update: Woman killed in South Lake Drive collision has been identified
The accident happened at I-20 and S. Lake Dr.

Lexington, S.C. (WOLO)– The Lexington County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim of a two vehicle collision Thursday morning.
Coroner Margaret Fisher identified the victim as Trinity Jones, 22, of Columbia.
Investigators say at 7:30am, a Toyota Scion exited I-20 onto South Lake Dr. crossing several lanes of traffic.
At that point, police say the Toyota collided with an Acura traveling outbound on South Lake.
Authorities say Jones, who was a passenger in the Toyota and wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Both drivers suffered non-life threatening injuries.
This incident remains under investigation.
