SCDOT to shift traffic to new Broad River Road Bridge

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– SCDOT says traffic will shift to the new Broad River Road bridge at the I-20 interchange.

Both bridges will be open to traffic beginning at 7 a.m. on Friday, June 6, according to SCDOT.

The shift will allow crews to continue converting the Broad River Road at I-20 Interchange into a Diverging Diamond Interchange traffic configuration.

Law enforcement officers, flaggers, and temporary construction signs will be present to guide traffic through the work zone as the changes are made.
