Poll finds majority of Americans oppose ‘Big, beautiful bill’

(CNN)– According to a new poll, a majority of Americans oppose President Trump’s proposed tax policy bill.

House Republicans passed the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” and it’s currently being discussed by the Senate.

According to a new poll from the non-partisan health research group KFF, 64% of Americans have an unfavorable view of the measure.

The mega-bill’s main focus is to extend Trump’s 2017 tax cuts.

The House version also aims to fulfill several of Trump’s campaign promises, including temporarily eliminating taxes on tips, overtime, and auto loan interest.
