Town of Chapin put temporary water restrictions on Amick’s Ferry customers
CHAPIN, S.C. (WOLO)– The Town of Chapin utilities has put temporary water use restorations in place for Amick’s Ferry customers.
The town says the temporary water use restrictions is in response to exceptionally high morning water demands due to high temperatures.
The restrictions for all customers on the Amick’s Ferry Water System will remain in place until further notice.
Under the restriction, water use should be minimized between 4:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. daily.
During these hours, customers are asked to not use landscape sprinkler systems unless they irrigate with lake water, and to conserve water where possible between these hours.
