‘Tis The Season: Bowl Gifts For Gamecocks And Tigers

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — When the Gamecocks and Tigers arrive to their bowl games in a few weeks, they’ll be greeted with gifts handed out by various bowl game sponsors.

According to SportsBusinessDaily.com, the Capital One Bowl will give South Carolina players a $450 Best Buy gift card and shopping trip, along with a Timely Watch Co. watch and Russell Athletic workout shirt.

The Orange Bowl will give Clemson players a Tourneau watch, along with the opportunity to select from an array of items in a large gift suite.

Various items will be in the gift suite, ranging from headphones to DVD players, to mountain bikes and furniture.

The NCAA allows bowls to provide $550 worth of gifts to each player.
