Summer gas prices lowest since 2021

(CNN)– Your Summer road trip may be a little less expensive this year with current Summer gas prices at their lowest in four years.

The national average for a gallon of gas was about $3.20 this week.

The price is only a few cents higher than a month ago, and more than 20 cents lower than this time last year.

In South Carolina, the average price for gas is $2.91 a gallon.

Gas prices usually go up in the Summer.

A fragile cease-fire between Iran and Israel has stabilized prices.
