RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County Sheriff’s Department’s Traffic Safety Unit will be conducting safety checkpoints throughout Richland County over the holiday, said deputies.

During the holiday weekend deputies will ensure that drivers are staying safe and sober on Thursday, July 3, and Friday, July 4.

People are asked to plan ahead, designate a driver, and always buckle up.
