Tariffs may affect fireworks

(CNN)– Your fourth of July fireworks bill might be higher this year.

The American Pyrotechnics Association says that’s because 99% of consumer fireworks in the U.S. are produced by China.

And China is subject to tariffs by the Trump Administration.

The association is warning against sustained tariffs.

It says they could impact the many small businesses that make up the American Fireworks Industry.
