SCDOT conducts shoulder, lane closure on I-95 Northbound in Sumter County for maintenance

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– SCDOT is conducting a temporary shoulder and single lane closure on I-95 northbound at mile marker 138 on Tuesday, July 8, said officials.

The temporary shoulder and single lane closure began at 9 a.m.

Officials said during the closure, the inside lane of I-95 northbound will be closed.

The closure is expected to last until Wednesday, July 9.

SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention when driving through a work zone.
