MUSC donates AED’s to RCSD

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– MUSC is helping the Richland County Sheriff’s Department save lives.

Wednesday afternoon, July 9, the Medical University of South Carolina announced it is donating 14 AED’s to the sheriff’s department.

Officials say the defibrillators will be placed in patrol vehicles equipping deputies with the tools needed to respond swiftly to cardiac emergencies.
