One killed in three-vehicle collision on Fish Hatchery Road in Lexington

LEXINGTON CO., S.C. (WOLO) – Highway Patrol says one person was killed in a collision involving three vehicles Wednesday night.

It happened at Fish Hatchery Road at Pine Arbor Court at 11:20 p.m.

According to Lance Cpl. Brittany Glover, a 2003 GMC Yukon was travelling south while a 2013 Hyundai Elantra was stopped at a stop sign facing east on Pine Arbor Court.

Then the Hyundai collided with the GMC Yukon, which caused the Yukon to collide with a 2011 Chrysler 300 that was parked in a parking lot.

The Hyundai driver died at the hospital from their injuries, while the Yukon driver wasn’t hurt.

The Lexington Co. Coroner’s Office has not released the victim’s identity as of yet.

Highway Patrol is investigating this incident.
