Confederate flag removed from SC State House 10 years ago
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Thursday, July 10, marks ten years since the confederate flag was removed from State House grounds.
The flag was removed in 2015 following the racially motivated shooting of 9 people at the Mother Emanuel AME Church in Charleston.
The flag can now be seen in the confederate relic room and military museum.
