Midlands woman surprised by lottery win
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– A Midlands woman says she never thought she would win $1 million playing the Lottery, say officials.
The win happened when she bought a $10 scratch-off on her way home from work at the A One Express on Rabon Road in Columbia.
“I never imagined something like that would happen, “the millionaire told South Carolina Education Lottery officials.
The odds of winning $1 million in the Magnificent Millions game are 1 in 1,560,000.
“It’s life changing,” she continued.
No more $1 million prizes remain in the game, according to SC lottery officials.
