Upstate teacher accused of prolonged and inappropriate relationship with student

Anderson Co., S.C. (WOLO)– An Upstate teacher is facing charges after deputies say she had a prolonged and inappropriate relationship with a student.
Anderson County deputies say Nicole Callaham is charged with three counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor and one count of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
Investigators say beginning in 2021 when the student was 14, Callahan began grooming the boy eventually leading to a prolonged pattern of abuse.
Callaham has resigned her position as a teacher.
She is also facing charges in Greenville and is under investigation in the town of Clemson for similar charges.
