SCDOT to close Belfast Road bridge in Newberry County for repairs

NEWBERRY COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) has closed the bridge on Belfast Road near Bush River in Newberry County for repairs, says SCDOT.

Crews are expediting the repairs and more information will be shared at a later date, according to SCDOT.

A signed detour route will be placed in the area.

Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes, if possible and asks drivers to slow down and pay attention to crews and signs when driving through a work zone.
