Kershaw County Co. identifies victim of Sunday collision

KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Kershaw County Coroner has identified the victim of a collision that happened on Sunday, July 20.

The coroner says 21-year-old William Ricky Lee Starr of Kershaw was a passenger in a vehicle traveling on Flat Rock Road around 8 a.m. when the driver ran off the road, struck a ditch and then a tree.

Starr died at the scene while the driver was taken to the hospital.

SC Highway Patrol is investigating.
