SCDOT to close bridge in Sumter County for maintenance

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– South Carolina Department of Transportation says the Eastern School Road bridge over Alligator Branch in Sumter County will be closed for maintenance.

It will be closed beginning July 28 at 9 a.m.

The closure is expected to last until the afternoon of July 30.

SCDOT says that Eastern School Road will be open to local traffic only, except at the bridge site.

Drivers are asked to slow down and pay attention when driving near work zones.
