NEWBERRY COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– People in Newberry County trying to beat the heat now have a place to go, according to officials.

Officials say there will be a cooling station open from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m. at O’Neal Street United Methodist Church from now until Tuesday, July 29.

If you do not have AC or have limited cooling, go and get some relief from the heat.
