SCDNR: Body of missing boater found in Lake Murray, coroner identifies teen
SALUDA CO., S.C. (WOLO) – The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources says they found the body of a missing boater in Lake Murray early Tuesday morning.
On Monday, authorities say they found a boat without anyone on board.
The Saluda County Coroner’s Office says the victim was identified as 17-year-old Bryson L. Burns of Lexington.
Officials say Burns was the only person on the small johnboat and apparently fell into the water.
This incident remains under investigation.
