RCSD: Man arrested in connection with Monday parking space shooting

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County deputies have arrested a suspect in connection with a Monday (July 28) shooting, say investigators.

It happened around 9:45 in the morning at the Circle K on Park Lane Road,

When deputies got there, they found someone with an injury in the lower body area.

That person was taken to the hospital.

According to investigators, Cedric Simon started an argument with the victim over a parking space, then shot the person.

Simon was later located and arrested in Georgia.
