CPD: Arrests made in separate shooting investigations
Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia Police say they have made arrests in two different shooting investigations.
Investigators say Marion Oates, 42 is charged with Murder after a man was found deceased inside a home on Randall Ave. on August 2nd.
The Coroner’s office identified the victim as Edward Willis, 50.
Police say the motive for the shooting has not yet been determined.
In a separate incident, police say Brandon Jackson, 25, is charged with a January murder.
Investigators say on Jackson and Nicholas Jackson, 19, were involved in a shooting on Doctor’s Circle resulting in the death of Creighvion Benjamin, 27.
