Deputies: Traffic stop leads to guns, drugs, cash, and stolen car parts
Orangeburg, S.C. (WOLO)–Deputies in Orangeburg Co. say a traffic stop lead to the discovery of nearly $100,000 in cash, drugs, guns, stolen car parts.
Investigators say on July 22nd deputies conducted a traffic stop and discovered the car was made up of a large number of stolen car parts.
Deputies say Akrkeria Savage-Clark was driving the car which she said belonged to her boyfriend Rashard McGlon.
According to deputies further investigation lead to the discovery of drugs, guns, and $93,oooo in cash in McGlon’s home.
Deputies say both McGlon and Savage-Clark are charged with trafficking methamphetamine or cocaine base more than 400 grams, possession with intent to distribute marijuana within proximity of a school, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, drugs attempt and conspiracy, possession of cocaine, two counts of possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime, possession of a machine gun/sawed off shotgun or rifle, and obstruction of justice.
McGlon is also charged with operating a chop shop and receiving stolen goods.
