SC State University receives grant that supports underrepresented students

 

 

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– There is more help available for students hoping to attend South Carolina State University.

Monday, August 11, SC State officials announced the university has received a one and a half million dollar grant to award scholarships to low income, first generation students and students with disabilities.

The student services grant will be awarded on a five year cycle beginning next month.
