Lexington-Richland School District Five former students information leaked online

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO)– Officials with Lexington-Richland School District Five say the personal information of some former students was posted online.

A district spokesperson says they have confirmed the information including names, birth dates, and some social security numbers was posted in a forum used by threat actors.

Officials say they are in the process of notifying those affected and offering credit  monitoring and identity protection.
