Local Living: OCSO’s back-to-school bash, Town of Chapin Labor Day weekend events, Main Street Latin Festival

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office is teaming up with Williams and Williams Attorneys at Law to host a back-to-school bash.

The event kicks off Tuesday, August 26, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Russell Street.

There will be free food, free haircuts, community vendors, and school supplies.

The event is free to attend.

 

The Town of Chapin is hosting several events for Labor Day weekend.

It kicks off with a 5k run on August 30 followed by a concert on August 31.

Then there will be a Classic Car Show on September 1 as well as a parade and festival.

 

The City of Columbia is hosting their annual Main Street Latin Festival.

The event is Saturday, August 23, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on the 1300 and 1400 blocks of Main Street.

You can enjoy a wide range of latin food, art, live music, and so much more.

Plus it’s free to attend.
