Dutch Fork Honors Slain Senior

(WOLO) IRMO,S.C., — Emotions were running high as a moment of silence was held for 17 year olf Davon Capers, The dutch Fok High School Senior stabbed to death during an off campus argument following a high school basketball game. Most of the students we spoke with did not want to talk about the loss and say they would much rather mourn for their friend in peace. Meanwhile – their parents were willing to speak. Many of them sharing the grief of the family who lost their son and praying for the accused teen who now sits behind bars. During Tuesday night’s basketball game, Capers number 48 football Jersey was worn proudly by the mascot and students who painted it on their hands, faces and even their backs. While Tuesdays game was suppose to be a night celebrating the seniors getting ready to graduate, many of the hearts and minds were with the teen who many say was robbed of that chance.
