Powerball jumps to $700 million, 2 tickets in SC win big on wednesday

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– With no winner in last night’s Powerball drawing, the jackpot for Saturday has grown to its biggest of the year.

The no win let the jackpot grow to $700 million.

Players should check your tickets because in Wednesday’s drawing, two tickets sold in South Carolina won big.

A ticket sold with PowerPlay at Texaco Express at 4186 Chester Hwy. in McConnells is worth $100,000.

Another ticket with DoublePlay won $50,000 at the Murphy #8684 at 4448 Sunset Blvd. in Lexington.

SC Lottery officials say check your tickets because more than 22,000 players in South Carolina hold tickets for prizes from $4 up to $100,000.
